Peter Allen, MS, LPC
Peter has extensive experience helping young adults with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, and learning challenges such as executive function deficits, ADHD, NLD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). He is a compassionate individual with a deep desire to help people transform their lives for the better, particularly young adults seeking to rebuild their lives and develop new optimism for their futures.
Peter completed his M.S. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oregon State University - Cascades. In 2006, he joined a wilderness therapy program serving as a Field Instructor before advancing to Field Director, where he oversaw all hiring, training, and supervision of field operations for a team of 30 employees. Peter then advanced to serving as a Primary Therapist where he supervised clinical care for adolescent males and their families. Prior to working in wilderness therapy, Peter worked as a counselor at a young male's therapeutic boarding school, as well as in a secure residential setting with clients who have severe and persistent mental illnesses.
An avid adventurer, musician, and woodworker, Peter has called Central Oregon home for more than a decade.
