Kevin Trow, BA, CBC
STUDENT SUCCESS COACH/MINDFULNESS TEACHER
Kevin attended High Point University in North Carolina where he majored in Human Relations with a double minor in Spanish and Political Science. For his undergraduate thesis research, Kevin investigated the retention of "soft skills" learned in wilderness programs.
With extensive work experience as a mountain, volcano, river, trekking, and ocean-canoeing guide, Kevin has traveled to diverse locales across the United States and Latin America. His broad range of outdoor experiences helps him empower students transitioning out of wilderness programs to contextualize what they have learned. As a Certified Behavioral Coach, Kevin gives students the autonomy to learn from their mistakes and turn them into concrete life skills, helping each student work towards becoming an inspired, fulfilled young adult.
Kevin spent his summers as a camper and camp counselor in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, where he found his passion for the natural world and working with youth. In his free time, Kevin loves to be outside engaging in any of the aforementioned activities.
