Parent Coaching: A little guidance goes a long way

Facilitated by College Excel Certified Parent Coaches, Parent Coaching is conducted over the phone, with each call usually lasting 40-50 minutes. Each parent, or set of parents, is assigned their own coach.

Our goal is to develop an alliance with parents by balancing warmth and professionalism with respect for the family's values and strengths. As the coaching relationship develops, we help our clients depersonalize their roles, let go of guilt, and gain the confidence and skills to parent effectively and lovingly, even in difficult situations. We help parents tackle specific situations and apply the skills and concepts taught in our Parent Teleclass.

The result: empowered parents with a healthy perspective who know what to do.

To enroll in our Parent Coaching services, parents must have completed College Excel's Parent Teleclass.

All parents who have a student enrolled in College Excel receive 4 parent coaching sessions at no additional cost. Parents who want to continue receiving this service past the fourth session will be charged at a rate of $125.00 per session.  *This rates is subject to change at anytime.
