Experience college and earn credit: COCC & OSU-Cascades

College Excel students may enroll in COCC or, if they're accepted, in OSU-Cascades. About 50% of our students attend each school.

Central Oregon Community College: Adjacent to our Academic Center for Excellence, COCC offers two-year Associate of Arts (AA) degrees and one-year Professional/Technical Certificates. Known in the Northwest as "Harvard-on-the-Hill", COCC's spacious campus boasts incredible mountain views, a new library, and a fitness center. The small, personal classes are taught by talented professors from around the world who enjoy an academic environment that emphasizes teaching rather than publishing.

Oregon State University-Cascades: The vibrant, student-centered COCC campus also hosts Oregon State University-Cascades, a branch of the state university based in Corvallis. This four-year university offers 20 degree options with a personal approach. OSU-Cascades students take lower-division classes (freshman and sophomore years) from COCC and upper-division classes (junior and senior years) from OSU-Cascades, but receive OSU-Cascades credit for all courses.
