Getting to Bend

Bend is an increasingly popular destination for both tourists and new residents. Airlines serving Redmond-Bend airport (RDM) include Delta, United and Horizon Air (part of Alaska Air Group), with direct flights now from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Denver, Portland and Eugene. More flights are being added every year.

In the non-winter months, some people choose to fly to Portland, enjoy that city's many cultural offerings, then savor the scenic 159-mile drive to Bend. If you're not into driving, Central Oregon Breeze is a shuttle-bus service connecting the airports in Bend and Portland, Portland Amtrak, and Bend city center.
